Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, basketbol hakemlerinin mesleki ve aile yaşantılarında karşılaştıkları sorunların tespit edilmesidir. Yöntem: Araştırmada, basketbol hakemlerinin mesleki ve aile yaşantısında karşılaştıkları sorunların tespiti noktasında nicel yönteme başvurulmuştur. Bu kapsamda, anket yöntemi tercih edilmiştir. Ölçek içerisinde basketbol hakemlerinin kişisel bilgilerini ortaya koyan soruların yanında "Futbol Hakemi Sosyal Durum Araştırma Ölçeği" yer almaktadır. Online olacak şekilde hakemlere ulaştırılan anket sonucunda elde edilen verilerin çözümlenmesinde SPSS 26 paket programı kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada demografik özelliklere göre karşılaştırmaların yapılmasında iki grup arasında karşılaştırmalar Mann-Whitney U testi, ikiden fazla grup arasındaki karşılaştırmalar ise Kruskall-Wallis H testi ile test edilmiş, farklılığın olduğu durumda hangi gruplar arasında fark olduğunun tespiti için Post Hoc (Tukey) testi uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: Basketbol hakemlerinin cinsiyet, yaş, klasman hakemlik yapma süresi, hakemlik dışında çalışma durumu ve gelir düzeyleri ile mesleki ve aile yaşantılarında karşılaştıkları sorunlar arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı buna karşın meslek ve mesleği seçme değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç: Basketbol hakemlerinin mesleki ve aile yaşantılarındaki sorunları ortaya koyan ifadelere yüksek düzeyde katılım sağladıkları gözlenmiştir. Bu sonuç, hakemlerin mesleki ve aile yaşantılarında pek fazla sorun yaşamadığını göstermektedir.
Objective: The aim of this study is to determine the problems faced by basketball referees in their professional and family life Methods: In the study, quantitative method was used to determine the problems encountered by basketball referees in their professional and family life. In this context, the survey method was preferred. In the questionnaire, besides the questions revealing the personal information of basketball referees, the "Football Referee Social Status Research Scale" is included. The SPSS 26 package program was used to analyze the data obtained as a result of the questionnaire delivered to the referees online. Comparisons between two groups were tested with the Mann-Whitney U test, and the comparisons between more than two groups were tested with the Kruskall-Wallis H test in making comparisons according to demographic characteristics in the study, and the Post Hoc (Tukey) test was used to determine which groups differ in case of difference. Results: It was determined that there was no significant difference between basketball referees' gender, age, class refereeing time, working status other then refereeing and income levels and problems they encountered in their professional and family life, but there was a significant difference according to the variables of choosing profession and profession. Conclusion: It was observed that the basketball referees had a high level of participation in the statements revealing the problems in their professional and family lives. This result shows that the basketball referees do not have many difficulties in their professional and family lives.
