Bathonea Kazıları Işığında Mezar ve Toplu Mezar Değerlendirmelerinde Adli Tıp Yaklaşımı

Abstract

ÖZET:Bu calışmada İstanbul ili Kucukcekmece ilcesinde yer alan Bathonea antik kentinde 2. Alan olarak adlandırılan bolgede Adli Tıp hekimi nezaretinde tespit edilen 12 adet basit toprak mezar ve 1 adet tonozlu mezarın incelenmesi, mezarlardan cıkarılan iskeletlerin adli antropometrik yontemlerle kimliklendirme ve olum nedenlerinin belirlenmesi hedeflenmiştir.Mezarların uygun kişilerin denetiminde optimum şekilde tespit ve acılması, bulgular uzerinde hasar oluşmasını en alt duzeye cekerken iskeletlerin değerlendirmesinde veri kaybını daha makul duzeye cekmiştir. Bathonea Antik Kentinde yaşamış olan kişiler hakkında bilgi elde edilmeye calışılırken ulkemizde adli makamlarca yapılagelmekte olan fethi kabir uygulamalarına butuncul acıdan bir yaklaşım sunulmuştur

In this study, it was aimed to examine 12 simple earth graves and 1 vaulted grave, which were found under the supervision of a Forensic Medicine physician in the area called Area 2 in the ancient city of Bathonea, located in the Küçükçekmece district of Istanbul, and to identify the skeletons excavated from the graves by forensic anthropometric methods and to determine the causes of death. Optimum detection and opening of the tombs under the supervision of appropriate persons minimized the damage to the findings and made the data loss more reasonable in the evaluation of the skeletons. While trying to obtain information about the people who lived in the Ancient City of Bathonea, a holistic approach was presented to the conquistadores’ practices that are being carried out by the judicial authorities in our country.
